Eligible dependents include the following:
The enrollee's lawful spouse, unless the spouse is eligible as a full-time employee as defined above
The enrollee's child to age 26 (Coverage ends at the end of the month in which the child reaches age 26.)
The term "child" includes the following:
Natural child or stepchild or legally adopted child
Foster child
Child placed in the enrollee's home in anticipation of adoption
Child for whom the enrollee is legal guardian
Child for whom the enrollee has legal custody
Child of the enrollee who is required to be covered by reason of a Qualified Medical Child Support Order (QMCSO)
The enrollee may be required to provide proof of dependent eligibility.
